COMMUNITY OUTREACH

From feeding the hungry to serving state and local government, from tutoring local children to providing scholarships for children in our sister Romanian Church, from sponsoring quality early childhood education and daycare to the creation of the local hospice, Old Stone continues the tradition of service to Christ as we serve our neighbors in the Greenbrier Valley.

American Thrift Shop
American is known for providing quality clothing at minimal expense! The mission of the Americana is not only to serve the economically disadvantaged with good, fashionable clothing, but to use the proceeds of the sales to support charitable organizations throughout the community. Hours are Tuesday - 12 Noon to 3 pm; Wednesday - 10 am - 2 pm; Thursday - 10 am - 6 pm; Friday - 10 am - 1 pm.

Food Locker
The Food Locker's mission is to provide healthy food, primarily staples, to low income individuals and families on a monthly basis. It is an ecumenical ministry, supported by the churches of the Greater Lewisburg Community and located at Old Stone. This assistance enables them to extend their grocery dollars and enjoy a healthier diet. Our service area is limited to Maxwelton, Lewisburg, Fairlea, Clintonville and Caldwell. Anyone wishing to participate must complete an application and provide proof of residency in person at the Church. The Food Locker is open from 9 am to 10 am the second Saturday of each month with the exception of October. The Food Locker is open the third Saturday in October to avoid the conflict with TOOT. In addition, groceries are delivered each month to Tabor Towers, Lewisburg Manor and Morgan Manor.
